🧪 So… Why Do Food Labels Sound Like Chemistry Textbooks?
Because, well… they kind of are.
Modern food manufacturing has become a brilliant science experiment. Just one that happens in factories instead of labs. From keeping bread squishy for days to making chips taste like pizza, there’s a whole orchestra of additives, preservatives, colours, stabilizers, and enhancers that make your favourite foods last longer, look prettier, and taste “OMG-so-good.”
But here's the thing: just because we can put it in food, doesn’t mean we should.

🤔 Are All Additives Evil?
Nope!
Some are totally safe and even necessary. (Think: Vitamin C aka ascorbic acid. Harmless.)
Others? Not so much. Especially when we over-consume them, which is more common than we realise thanks to packaged snacks, drinks, and even so-called “health foods.”
